Join the Marine Academy at Clearwater Marine Aquarium for our Educator Exploration Day! Clearwater Marine Aquarium is excited to welcome educators back for the 2024-2025 school year. Educator Exploration Day will be held at Clearwater Marine Aquarium on Saturday, September 7th from 10:00am-1:00pm. Educators can explore the Marine Academy, which is not open to the general public, from 10:00am-1:00pm to learn more about field trip opportunities and educational programming.

Echoes of the Ocean: A Marine Life Speaker Series
Echoes of the Ocean: A Marine Life Speaker Series
Talks will be held four times a year on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm with talks beginning at 6pm in CMA’s Dolphin Tale Theater on the fourth floor. North Atlantic right whales are one of the world’s most endangered large whale species. Join us for a comprehensive discussion about these whales including their life history, current populations status, and the threats they face. Gain insights from experts about ongoing efforts designed to protect these whales. Learn about the critical work of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute, including aerial surveys and other essential research, and learn how these initiatives are crucial to the conservation of right whales. Don’t miss this chance to deepen your understanding of right whales and how you can contribute to their protection. This event is a valuable opportunity for marine enthusiasts, conservation advocates, and anyone interested in this critically endangered species.
