Celebrate Easter Seaside!
March 30 | 9am – 11am
Spending Easter weekend away from home? Dine with the Easter Bunny at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Seaside Easter Breakfast! Spend time with family while indulging on a gourmet breakfast buffet. Learn more about CMA’s mission during an interactive dolphin presentation. And, of course, have an opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny! Sea Turtle Awareness Day

Celebrate Sea Turtle Awareness Day on April 6, 2024, at Clearwater Marine Aquarium! The Sea Turtle Conservation Program at CMA will be preparing for sea turtle nesting season with nest stake painting, custom Protect the Nest plaques, and so much more! Inspiring Special Exhibits
Washed Ashore at ArtSEA
Now through April, Washed Ashore will be at CMA’s ArtSEA exhibit. These unique art pieces feature marine life such as jellyfish, whales, a sea turtle, river otter and a sea lion – all created from pollution and trash items found in the ocean such as bottles, shoes, lighters, and thousands of pieces of discarded waste. The sculptures bring to life the concept of truly making art from trash!

Our experienced animal care team will lead you through a personalized experience. New: Paint with a Dolphin

Take home a unique piece of dolphin-created art! Watch as the dolphins express their natural behaviors and curiosity to manipulate paint brushes in their own unique way, highlighting their individuality, intelligence and creativity. One person will hold the canvas as the dolphin creates the masterpiece you can take home!
Sloth Meet & Greet
March 9-24
Tell your friends all about how you spent time with a sloth over spring break! During the Sloth Meet & Greet, you’ll have the chance to make lasting memories, meeting Lima, a charming two-toed sloth, and learn about these fascinating creatures in a private setting designed for a small group. The sloth experts will guide you through a 20-minute educational session. As part of the experience, you’ll have the chance to see Lima up close and interact under the guidance of the experienced team. Capture this special moment with a complimentary photo, allowing you to cherish the memory of meeting a sloth for years to come!

Create a memory this spring break that will last a lifetime during our Dolphin Photo Experience! You will have the opportunity to come poolside with Animal Care Specialists and get a photo with one of our rescued resident dolphins!

It’s not spring break in Clearwater without taking in a breathtaking sunset! On the Tropical Sunset Cruise, get out on the water just in time for sunset while enjoying a refreshing beverage. Get the opportunity to see local wildlife, participate in educational games, and enjoy a relaxing voyage around Clearwater Bay with music and fun for the whole family. Sea Life Safari
Explore beautiful Clearwater Bay and see the local wildlife while on a 90-minute boat tour! Be a part of science, and observe data collection in action, as we perform a net pull and conduct a “show and tell” onboard of sea creatures found in the grass beds and sand flats of the bay. Plus, you’ll get the chance to get your feet wet at a local shell island and collect seashells!

Winter the Dolphin’s Beach Club
No spring break is complete without a beach front stay! Spend the week at our eco-friendly hotel on Clearwater Beach. Be an Environmentally Friendly Spring Breaker!
While spring break on the beach is fun, it’s important to keep the waters clean and safe for marine life!
- Say no to single-use straws. Opt for reusable straws when possible!
- Avoid using single-use plastic bags! Use a reusable tote bag instead!
- It’s almost sea turtle nesting season! To ensure the safety of nesting turtles, knock down sand castles and fill in holes created in the sand!
- Leave the beach cleaner than you found it! You have the opportunity to help save marine animals by removing the trash before the tide washes it back out! Removing litter that we find on the beach guarantees that marine wildlife won’t come into contact with it and helps make the local area a better place!
