About the Event
Thank you to all of the volunteers that participated in the coastal cleanup on Earth Day!
84 volunteers came out to help clean up the coastal area along the Memorial Causeway. In just a couple hours, the volunteers were able to collect over 700 pounds of trash!
Join our efforts for Earth Day in cleaning up trash along the Memorial Causeway.
Date: Sunday, April 22, 2018
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (Check-in starts at 7:45 a.m.)
Parking: is available at a lot located at 127 Island Way Clearwater FL 33767.
*Please note: parking will not be available in Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s parking garage.
Registration: Check-in tent will be located at the intersection of the Memorial Causeway and Island Way
All ages welcome!
Cleanup supplies will be provided.
A refillable water station will be available.
Prizes and refreshments!
Don’t forget to bring:
- Refillable water bottle
- Sunblock
- Hat/Sunglasses
- Closed toed shoes
- Insect repellent
- Container to collect trash
Help us “Go Green” by reducing the use of single-use plastic trash bags. Bring your own trash collection container (5-gallon bucket, plastic cat litter container, or large basket).
