DESCRIPTION:Experience Details\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Event\n\n\nThank you to all of the volunteers that participated in the coastal cleanup on Earth Day!\n \n84 volunteers came out to help clean up the coastal area along the Memorial Causeway. In just a couple hours\, the volunteers were able to collect over 700 pounds of trash! \n\nJoin our efforts for Earth Day in cleaning up trash along the Memorial Causeway. \nDate: Sunday\, April 22\, 2018 \nTime: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (Check-in starts at 7:45 a.m.) \nParking: is available at a lot located at 127 Island Way Clearwater FL 33767. \n*Please note: parking will not be available in Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s parking garage. \nRegistration: Check-in tent will be located at the intersection of the Memorial Causeway and Island Way \nAll ages welcome! \nCleanup supplies will be provided. \nA refillable water station will be available. \nPrizes and refreshments! \nDon’t forget to bring: \n\nRefillable water bottle\nSunblock\nHat/Sunglasses\nClosed toed shoes\nInsect repellent\nContainer to collect trash\n\nHelp us “Go Green” by reducing the use of single-use plastic trash bags.
