Girl Scout Programs

  • Each badge program includes admission to the aquarium for scouts & two group leaders after the program. $10.95 per scout/per program*. Each program is two hours long. 10 scout minimum per program. *Some programs may vary in price or duration. All Girl Scout troops who participate in an educational program will earn an exclusive Winter’s Go Green for Marine fun bracelet. This bracelet is only available to Girl Scout troops who participate in an educational program and is not available for purchase in our gift shop. Participating Scouts and two group leaders get complimentary admission to Clearwater Marine Aquarium after the program. Any additional parents and children pay the group admission rate of $8.95.

    Rosie’s Story Make the World a Better Place Petal: Learn how to choose eco-friendly alternatives to help our marine life, and practice making the world a better place through a recycling game.

    Clover’s Story Use Resources Wisely Petal: Learn how being resourceful can help our marine life, and have fun being resourceful through an eco-friendly activity.

    Outdoor Art Maker Why are animals different colors, shapes, and sizes, and what influences them in their environment? Earn your requirements for the Outdoor Arts badge by learning about different marine animals and capturing the CMA views to take home with you.

    BROWNIES

    Senses Earn your requirements for the Senses badge by comparing your senses to some of our resident marine animals.

    Household Elf What can you do to go green at home? See how we “Go Green” at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and how this impacts our oceans. Make a “no sew” reusable bag. *This program can also be taken virtually. To register go to cmamarineacademy.org

    Eco Friend How can you and CMA be a friend to animals and the environment? Earn some of your requirements towards the Eco Friend badge, learn about how humans and sea turtles interact, and explore ways to be kind to our oceans and the animals living in it.

    JUNIORS

    Outdoor Art Explorer Let Clearwater Bay and our resident animals be your inspiration to explore, create, and design different kinds of art.

    Animal Habitats Earn your requirements for the Animal Habitats badge by learning about animal habitats at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the surrounding area of Clearwater Bay. Have a Wildlife Awareness Party featuring sea turtles!

    Gardener Dig into a different kind of gardening while you earn requirements toward your Gardener badge. Explore sustainability and alternative gardening methods, like our aquaponics system.

    CADETTES

    Animal Helpers Earn your requirements for the Animal Helpers badge by learning about the incredible rescue stories of our resident animals. Discuss how these marine animals have shaped the lives of people, inspired by their stories of survival, while creating your own inspiration box.

    STEM Career Exploration How does a career in Marine Science make a difference? Explore what it’s like to have a career in nature and the environment at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and earn some of the requirements toward your STEM Career Exploration Badge.

  • Please enter a number from 10 to 50.
    Please note the minimum per program is 10 participants and the max. is 50 participants. For groups over 50, additional sessions can be booked consecutively.
  • Participating Scouts and two group leaders get complimentary admission to the Aquarium after the program. Any additional parents and children pay $8.95 per person group admission rate.
  • This inquiry submission does not confirm your reservation. An Education team member will reach out to the listed contact shortly regarding program availability on your requested date(s). Please note that all programs must be payed in full two weeks prior to the program date to hold your reservation.
