Spring break is here! Looking for something fun to do? We’ve put together a list of all the best Clearwater Marine Aquarium activities and events to experience this spring. Grab your friends and have the best spring break ever at Clearwater Marine Aquarium!
Spring Seal-abration!
Help us welcome the new harbor seals, Pharaoh, Ocean and Scallop, and learn more about these playful pinnipeds during daily seal presentations at 12:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Be sure to stop by the CMA Rescue Gift Store and browse our adorable new seal plush and merch!
During March 14 to April 12, Spring Seal-abration activities will feature hands-on activities and family-friendly programs happening throughout the aquarium, including:
- Spring Break Scavenger Hunt: 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. with prizes
- Flower Wall Craft Station: 10 a.m.– 4 p.m.
- Kahoot Trivia: 2:30 p.m. (Thursday–Sunday)
- Spring Splash Showdown: 11 a.m.– 12 p.m. and 3 – 4 p.m. (Thursday–Sunday) with hula hoop contests, egg spoon races and water bucket challenges.
- Daily Animal Connection Presentations at 12:30 p.m. in the Dolphin Tale Theater
Clearwater Marine Aquarium will also have extended spring hours and will be open from 9 a.m. until 5. p.m. March 14 – April 12.
Seasonal Springtime Offerings
The Shark Bites Cafe will be open 9:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m with mini Dutch pancakes and beverages.
The cafe will be open 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with our full dining menu, featuring special seasonal items, including a surf & turf burger and pickle fries.
The Catina on the Dolphin Terrace will be open 11 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with special springtime drinks.
The Snack Shack will be open 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Celebrate Easter with Brunch at CMA!
April 4 | 9am – 12am
Spending Easter weekend away from home or looking for a unique experience for the family? Dine with the Easter Bunny at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Easter Brunch! Spend time with family while indulging on a delicious breakfast buffet. Admission to the Aquarium is included to enjoy time with all the marine animals at CMA. And, of course, have an opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny! All of this and more are included in your ticket to CMA’s Easter Brunch!

Sea Turtle Awareness Day
April 4 | 10am – 2pm
Celebrate Sea Turtle Awareness Day on April 4, 2026, at Clearwater Marine Aquarium! The Sea Turtle Conservation Program at CMA will be preparing for sea turtle nesting season with nest stake painting, custom Protect the Nest plaques, and so much more! This event is included with your general admission at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. You can also participate in our Sea Turtle Awareness Day Virtual 5K to support sea turtle conservation efforts!

Get Out on the Water!
Sea Life Safari
Explore beautiful Clearwater Bay and see the local wildlife while on a 90-minute boat tour! Be a part of science, and observe data collection in action, as we perform a net pull and conduct a “show and tell” onboard of sea creatures found in the grass beds and sand flats of the bay. Plus, you’ll get the chance to get your feet wet at a local shell island and collect seashells!
Spend a Week on the Beach!
Stay with one of our local hotel partners on the beach
No spring break is complete without a beachfront stay! Spend the week at the Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach, an eco-friendly hotel right on the beach. Be an Environmentally Friendly Spring Breaker!
While spring break on the beach is fun, it’s important to keep the waters clean and safe for marine life!
- Say no to single-use straws. Opt for reusable straws when possible!
- Avoid using single-use plastic bags! Use a reusable tote bag instead!
- It’s almost sea turtle nesting season! To ensure the safety of nesting turtles, knock down sand castles and fill in holes created in the sand before you leave!
- Leave the beach cleaner than you found it! You have the opportunity to help save marine animals by removing the trash before the tide washes it back out! Removing litter that we find on the beach guarantees that marine wildlife won’t come into contact with it and helps make the local area a better place!

Ride the Jolley Trolley from the Clearwater Beach Transit Center South (North Route) to Island Estates and ask to be dropped off at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
