For those who want to truly immerse themselves in the world of whales, guests will have the opportunity to take on the role of marine biologist to observe and dive right in with humpback whales, and other underwater wildlife, with the Undersea Virtual Theater. This virtual reality experience features state-of-the-art technology complete with motion-platform seating that transports guests to the ocean’s depths. These experiences, created by an Emmy Award- winning documentary team, present live-action educational and adventurous content guided by wildlife experts. With a mission to support marine conservation through the creation of engaging events, “Undersea Explorer” features cutting-edge technology syncing 360-degree stereoscopic VR with dynamic motion seating for the ultimate below-the-sea adventure. VR dive goggles are sanitized in a UV light machine after each viewing.

Whales: Living with Giants explores the under-sea world of these magnificent gentle giants as this interactive educational experience immerses you directly into their lives, environment, and their evolving relationship with mankind. Numerous threatened and endangered species are featured in this multi- media exhibition that highlights whales as the largest living animals on the planet, explains the science behind their amazing anatomy, complicated social structures and behaviors, the obstacles threatening their extinction, and the efforts to protect them.
