Play Ball! Clearwater Marine Aquarium is bringing baseball season under the sea with a Rays Day at CMA! Get ready for a day of family fun with hot dogs, popcorn, and all of your favorite stadium snacks, along with thrilling raffles, a chance to meet DJ Kitty, and live Rays Radio on-site! Don’t miss your chance to watch the Tampa Bay Rays take on the New York Yankees while spending the day with our marine life residents!
Meet and greet opportunities with former Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Grant Balfour from 12:45 to 2:45pm.
Grant Balfour
Former Australian Relief pitcher who played a 12-year career most notably with the TB Rays, Minnesota Twins, and Oakland Athletics, made his debut in 2001. Currently holds the Oakland A’s consecutive save record with 44. Was a 1x All-Star in 2013. Finished his career with a 3.49 ERA, 571 strikeouts, and 84 saves. Balfour was inducted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame in February 2015.
