The Education Department is thrilled to announce the return of a spook-tacular experience: The Creepy Sea Cavern! This is your chance to explore the mysterious world of deep-sea creatures, games, and crafts—right on the Education Floor (which is usually closed to the public!).
Here’s what’s waiting for you:
Venture into the Abyss: Step into the dark and discover animals that light up the abyss! Interactive games and sensory experiences await you in this area.
Move Your Bones Zone: Full of fun, interactive learning activities that will get you moving! Learn about the giant squid, jellyfish, and more in this area.
Creepy Crafts: Wind down with some Halloween and deep-sea-inspired crafts. Perfect for a relaxing, creative break!
We can’t wait for you to dive in with us to experience the eerie, underwater world of the Creepy Sea Cavern!
Halloween Spookquarium Activities Oct. 31
CMA Trick-or-Treat bags will be available for the first 100 kids at Guest Services beginning at 2:45pm. Available while supplies last!
Trick-or-Treat Stations: Trick-or-treat through the aquarium and collect Halloween goodies along the way! Don’t forget to bring a trick-or-treat bag. Trick-or-treat stations available with admission from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Free Dippin’ Dots ice cream from 5pm-6pm!
Costume Contest: Dress up in your most creative, spooky or cute costumes for a chance to win prizes. The costume contest is open to all ages. Time: 4:45pm.
Ghoulish Games and Activities: Enjoy a variety of Halloween and fall-themed games, activities and crafts for all ages. Slime Time at 3:30pm and 4:30pm.
Underwater Pumpkin Carving: Watch our scuba divers use their skills to carve pumpkins underwater! 4pm-5pm.
