About the Evening
Get ready to rewind to the raddest decade at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s ’80s Skate After Hours!
On July 13, join us for a blast from the past as we transform our venue into a neon paradise. Lace up your skates and hit the rink for some freestyle fun, groove to the beats of iconic ’80s tunes, and challenge your family to classic arcade games. Create unforgettable memories at this totally tubular event!
Tickets
All tickets include a unique skating experience with a view of the dolphins in front of the Window of Wonder in the Ruth & J.O. Stone Dolphin Complex. Skate throughout the night on a glowing skating rink. Skate rentals are also included!

Reserve Parking
Parking is available in the CMA Parking Garage. Seasonal daily rates apply and parking is not included with tickets to this event.

Activities
Enjoy the Aquarium After Hours
- Enjoy access to underwater views of the rescued dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and other resident animals and explore a number of marine life habitats that will be viewable during the evening hours until 8:30pm.
Glowing Skating Experience
- All tickets include a unique skating experience at the Aquarium. Skate throughout the night on a glowing skating rink. Skate rentals are also included!
Evening Programs
Capybara Evening Chillout
Join us for a unique experience as you witness the playful antics of the adorable capybara family, brought to you in partnership with Amazing Animals Inc.
Guests can enjoy a special evening session observing these charming creatures as they roam and frolic in their habitat while engaging in various activities including swimming, playing, and socializing during this special event from 6pm through 8:30pm. Located in the Atlantis Theater on Level 1.
Dolphin Photo Moment
Connect with a dolphin! Go poolside next to the rescued dolphins while our professional photographers capture the moment as the dolphin interacts with you!

Net proceeds from this event benefit Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s ongoing mission to rescue, rehab, and release more marine life.
Please Note:
- In order to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage, guests must be 21 or older. Additionally, you will be required to present valid identification to verify your age.
- Event includes access to select areas of Clearwater Marine Aquarium, including the Ruth & J.O. Stone Dolphin Complex and Visitor Center.

Dress attire is casual.
Please note that while we encourage a relaxed and comfortable dress code for this event, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing bathing suits or any overly revealing clothing. We ask that appropriate clothing be worn to cover the torso and be suitable for public spaces. This may include items such as t-shirts, blouses, shorts, jeans, skirts, and dresses. Shoes or sandals are also required.
