Join us for a fun weekend full of games and activities for kids on August 9 and 10 at Clearwater Marine Aquarium!
About the Event
Visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium on August 9-10 for a weekend packed with fun, interactive games and activities kids can enjoy as we celebrate the start of the school season!
The first 200 students each day (K-12 grade) will receive a custom CMA pencil! Enjoy activities and games throughout the day with the chance to win other small prizes.
Activities:
Scavenger Hunt: Explore the aquarium with a fun scavenger hunt. Pick up your scavenger hunt at the Guest Services counter between 10am and 4pm.
Marine Academy Educational Activities: Our Education Team will welcome guests to the Marine Academy on the 2nd floor for a limited-time opportunity to visit our classrooms and enjoy fun, interactive educational activities from 10am-2pm on level 2. Learn about fish schools and help “Timmy the Tuna” prepare for his first day of school!
“Turtle School” Presentation: Enjoy a special “Turtle School” presentation from our Aquatic Biology team with our resident sea turtles on the top side of Mavis’s Rescue Hideaway at 10:30am.
“A Surprise for Stubby” Book Signing: Meet author and CMA volunteer Madison DiLoren during a book signing in the Rescue Gift Shop from 11am to 1pm.
Back to School Bingo with Sharky Shark: Kids can join a fun game of bingo with a chance to win small prizes at 2:30pm on level 4.
Kahoot Game: Kids can test their knowledge with an interactive game of Kahoot and a chance to win small prizes at 3:00pm on level 4.
FREE Dippin’ Dot Samples: Taste samples of Dippin’ Dots from 1pm to 2pm on level 4 while supplies last!
Slime Time: Professor Peduncle will present Slime Time at 11:30am and 3:30pm on level 4.
Craft Activities: Enjoy rock coloring and chalk art activities on level 1 from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Additional craft tables wil be available on level 4 from 11am to 3pm.
