DESCRIPTION:Join us for Pre-k Pod Pals – a fun and educational morning program at Clearwater Marine Aquarium! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSquishy Bones – March 3\, 2026\n\n\n\nIn this one-hour program\, you will learn about what you have in common with fish like sharks and rays! Sink your teeth into using your thinking skills to compare sharks and rays while looking at shark jaws and other biofacts. Throughout story time and the hands-on activities\, you’re sure to have a fin-tastic time! \n\n\n\nAbout Pre-K Pod Pals\n\n\n\nOur turtle\, dolphin\, otter\, shark\, and ray friends will invite children to learn about where they live\, what they eat\, and the characteristics that help them live in the ocean. Programs will include classroom activities that explore the Florida pre-kindergarten standards\, interactive games\, and fun facts about the animal of the month! Available for children ages 3 to 5. \n\n\n\nAvailable for children ages 3 to 5. All children must be accompanied by an adult. We require a minimum number of participants per Pre-K Pals session and will reschedule or process a full refund if the minimum is not met.All programs must be booked online at least 24-hours in advance.  Programs begin at the scheduled time. After your paddle\, keep the exploration going with included admission to Clearwater Marine Aquarium for a full day of coastal discovery. Single and tandem kayaks are available for booking online\, so grab the family and get ready for an unforgettable day on the water! \n\n\n\nWe’ve Got You Covered: We provide kayaks\, paddles\, life jackets\, and expert guides. You just bring your sense of adventure\, closed-toe water shoes\, and a towel! (Closed-toe shoes and life jackets are required for all participants.) \n\n\n\n\nBOOK SINGLE KAYAK\n\n\n\nBOOK TANDEM KAYAK\n\n\n\n\nInclement Weather Policy Florida is prone to thunderstorms\, tropical storms\, red tide\, and even hurricanes. There may be times when normal family mini-camp schedules need to be altered due to inclement weather or unsafe water conditions\, such as extremely high tides rendering the water unsuitable for snorkeling. In these instances\, Clearwater Marine Aquarium has indoor classroom activities planned for participants. For mini-camps that include snorkeling or any other outdoor activities\, we will adjust our outdoor schedules in the event of inclement weather or water conditions for the safety of our guests. We will make every effort to resume normal camp schedules on inclement weather days as soon as possible. Since Clearwater Marine Aquarium does not have control over inclement weather or water conditions\, we cannot guarantee that guests in these mini-camps will snorkel or participate in an outdoor activity. Be among the first to meet our newest resident seals while enjoying sunset views\, full aquarium admission after hours\, and one complimentary drink ticket with each adult ticket purchase. Their arrival marks a major milestone in CMA’s growth as a leader in marine rescue\, care\, conservation education\, and research. \n\n\n\nThe new harbor seal habitat is part of CMA’s broader plan to expand its pinniped program\, including harbor seals and California sea lions. This addition strengthens CMA’s mission of rescue\, rehabilitation\, release\, and research while expanding conservation education to address global marine challenges. \n\n\n\nPinnipeds face threats such as pollution\, toxins\, habitat loss\, vessel strikes\, harassment\, and declining prey due to overfishing.
