DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating Nick’s 21st birthday at Clearwater Marine Aquarium on June 24! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Nick’s Birthday\n\n\n\nVisit Nicholas the dolphin at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and help us celebrate his 21st birthday on June 24 with special birthday dolphin presentations and activities. We also have some special guests joining us for the party! Take a photo and meet fun local sports team mascots between 12pm and 2pm.  \n\n\n\nThere will be two birthday dolphin presentations at the Window of Wonder at 12pm and 2pm. Don’t miss your chance to wish Nicholas a happy birthday and celebrate this big day with us! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNicholas was only six months old when he stranded on December 24\, 2002. He got his name after being rescued on Christmas Eve. Nicholas suffered severe sunburns when he stranded in Gibsonton\, Florida but he received long-term medical treatment at Clearwater Marine Aquarium and eventually fully recovered. Because his mother did not survive the stranding and he was orphaned at such a young age\, he did not have the skills to survive in the wild and was deemed non-releasable and he became a permanent resident at CMA.
